New additions to the MEAT crew are Tori Flower, Naomi Wood and Dan Rolfe Johnson. The Wood-Flower duo - in the editor’s chair - have chosen the theme ‘Birds and Beasts’ for the issue that will launch Sept 10. Watch this space for more hints of what they will serve up…
And who are they? All are long term friends of MEAT, Tori worked as an advertising creative and art director for industry hotshots WCRS before finding herself in India, coming back and starting work for We Are What We Do (of Anya Hindmarsh bag and Change the world for a fiver fame) alongside freelance work.

Naomi recently graduated from UEA’s creative writing course (yes, that one, the one wot Iain Mcewan did) and like a glutton for punishment, started a phd. Her novel The Godless Boys will be published next year by Picador.

Easing into the design hotseat, giving MEAT Magazine a much needed spruce up and teaching it to shut up and lern its type proper, is the mighty Dan Rolfe Johnson. When not rolling round in vintage Campagnolo gearsets and pounding the pedals, Dan designs for the lovely graphic design mag, Grafik.
